Peanut Butter Cookies

Rich, nutty, and irresistibly soft, these classic peanut butter cookies are a timeless favorite. With just a few simple ingredients, they bake up perfectly chewy.

Ingredients

• 1 c. butter softened (2 sticks)
• 1 c. peanut butter
• 1 c. sugar
• 1 c. brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 ½ c. flour
• 1 tsp baking powder
• ½ tsp salt
• 1 ½ tsp baking soda
• 1/2 c. butter softened (1 stick)
• 1/2 c. peanut butter
• 1/2 c. sugar
• 1/2 c. brown sugar
• eggs
• 1¼ c. flour
• 1/2 tsp baking powder
• ¼ tsp salt
• 1 scant tsp baking soda

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 F.
  2. In a large bowl, cream butter, peanut butter, and sugars together. Beat in eggs.
  3. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; stir into butter mixture until combined.
  4. Use a portion scoop to place cookies on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for about 12-14 minutes rotating partway through. Cookies should be starting to brown.
