Apparently Jet-Puff and Kellogg’s do not agree on the ratio between puffed rice and marshmallow. So i had to google around and find someone who had done their own research. This is what I ended up with to make ingredient measurements easy.
Ingredients
- 1 stick of salted butter
- 16 oz bag of marshmallows
- 7 c. puffed rice cereal
Directions
- Melt the butter in a pot
- Melt the marshmallows in the butter
- When it’s all melty, add the cereal and mix until thoroughly combined.
- Put it into a dish or something. I usually just make large balls the size of a softball… which is probably more than most people want.
