Essentially all you need here is the ratio of milk to eggs, and I think you could figure the rest out. I can never remember ratios, and that’s why I’m writing this down because too much milk and you’ll get some sad soggy-ass bread pudding.
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 c. milk
- 4 slices of sandwich bread
Directions
- Whisk egg, vanilla, and cinnamon in a shallow dish until combined then stir in the milk.
- Dip bread slices into mixture until evenly coated on both sides.
- Cook on a lightly greased non-stick pan or skillet on medium heat until cooked through and brown on both sides.
- Serve with a pad a of butter and some corn syrup based, butter and maple syrup. aka. Mrs. B. for best results.
